FGA Granite & Marble processes a large range of natural stones. Each stone type hasinherent natural properties such as crystal intergrowths, cleavage, pitting, micro-fractures, grain structure, texture, veining and variations in colour which are to be expected in natural materials. These are characteristic properties of all natural stone and do not decrease the functionality of the product in any way. Natural stone is hard, depending on the specific materials chosen, and durable. If cared for correctly these stones will not lose their natural beauty.

All of our stone is extracted by expert stone masons using sophisticated techniques in its country of origin. Every block or slab is closely examined for its degree of perfection before consignment to our processing plant at Kogarah.  On arrival each piece of stone is carefully examined and if found to have any undesirable imperfections or abnormal features which could render the stone unsuitable, be these aesthetic or functional, it is rejected.

The stone is further inspected at each stage of processing, cutting and installation as part of our quality control. We also request our clients to inspect materials chosen to ensure customer satisfaction and peace of mind.
